The device’s thermal management capabilities were enhanced with a new solution called Predator PowerGem, included in models with the Intel Core i9 processor. PowerGem is a special material with 3.83 times more vertical thermal conductivity than copper, improving the notebook’s heat emission efficiency. All models include three copper heat pipes, Acer Coolboost technology, a steam chamber and two fourth-generation AeroBlade 3D Acer fans.

Other high-performance upgrades include faster 2,933Hz memory (max 64GB), an additional Thunderbolt 3 port (for a total of two), and the latest Killer DoubleShot Pro (Wi-Fi 6 AX1650i wireless and E3100G Ethernet ) to ensure that critical applications have priority over bandwidth.
This team integrates a PCIe NVMe solid state drive in RAID 0, a 17.3-inch 144 Hz FHD IPSi display of the Helios 700 and NVIDIA G-SYNC technology. The keyboard, which features RGB lighting on each key and ‘anti-ghosting’, has been updated to include MagTek mechanical switches for the WASD keys, as well as a set of new velocity keys that offer greater precision.
Predator Helios 300 is available with the latest 10th generation Intel Core H-series processors, NVIDIA Geforce RTX 2070 GPU overclockable with Max-Q Design and a 15.6-inch 240Hz IPS FHD display with 3ms response time.
It also supports up to 32GB of 2,933MHz DDR4 memory, two PCIe NVMe SSDs in RAID 0 configuration, and up to a 2TB hard drive, to provide the speed and storage needed to support large collections of AAA movies and games.

Nitro 7, meanwhile, includes a tenth-generation Intel Core H-series processor and up to a Geforce RTX 2060 GPU. With up to three slots for high-speed M.2 SSDs, up to 1TB in RAID 0 configuration, up to 32 GB of DDR4 2933 memory, Killer Ethernet E2600 and Intel Wi-Fi 6, game loading and response times are blazingly fast.
Nitro 7’s thermal design includes dual fans, a quad output port design, and Acer CoolBoost technology that can be enabled in NitroSense to increase fan speed by 10% and CPU / GPU cooling by 9% in Comparison with automatic mode.
Pricing and availability
The Predator Helios 700 gaming notebook will be available in North America in October starting at $ 2,399.99; in EMEA in September from 2,699 euros; and in China in August, starting at RMB 44,999.
The Predator Helios 300 gaming notebook will be available in North America in July starting at $ 1,199.99; and in Europe in July from 1,299 euros; and in China in June, starting at RMB 8,999.
In addition, the Triton 300 will be available in North America in September starting at $ 1,299.99; and in Europe in July, from 1,399 euros.
