An ADB command brings the special filter from the OnePlus 8 Pro camera

One of the features that OnePlus brought to its 8 Pro model was a special camera mode. This simulated an x-ray, being able to see through materials, especially thin plastic.

Even though it is something completely different and much appreciated by users, the brand ended up removing it in an update. He promised his return soon, but it did not happen. Now, and with a simple ADB command, that mode can be brought back.

OnePlus 8 Pro ADB camera filter

adb shell
am start -n com.oneplus.factorymode/.camera.manualtest.CameraManualTest

Just connect the OnePlus 8 Pro to your computer and give it the command shown above. This will launch the Factory Mode app, where this camera mode will be present and can be used immediately.

You need to repeat this command whenever you want to launch the app, but there is a way around the problem. Just block it and keep it stored in the smartphone’s memory so that it is not closed.
