Franchise director confirmed ‘X-ray murders’ on Twitter, but fans disapproved
A recent trailer for the game “Assassin’s Creed Valhalla” has had repercussions among fans of the saga. The video shows a new mode of execution – violent and in the best “Mortal Kombat” style – with the right to blades piercing the skin and even splintering bones.
Through Twitter, the game’s director, Benoit Ritcher, confirmed the new battle mechanics, but clarified that the activation of the mode will be at the player’s discretion.
Game Director @BenoitRicher has confirmed that (for lack of a better term) “X-ray assassinations” were not just part of the #AssassinsCreed Valhalla gameplay trailer, but will be part of the gameplay and be player trigged!

The fans of the saga, however, showed no excitement with the game’s new combat mechanics.
