Asus ZenFone 7: the first details of your camera arrive

Asus’ focus is, for now, on the launch of the Asus ROG Phone 3 in two weeks. However, this will not be the only high-end of the brand for this year, and the arrival of the Asus ZenFone 7 is still expected.

A new report gives us the first information about this top of the range brand. According to what is being advanced, it will come with the same rotating camera mechanism adopted in the Asus ZenFone 6.

Rotating camera will remain on Asus ZenFone 7

This means that the smartphone’s rear camera can also serve as a front camera. In addition to solving the inconvenience of having to interrupt the equipment screen, it will give your selfies a higher quality.

Additionally, the source says that this module will feature more lenses than its predecessor. Therefore, the new ZenFone 7 is expected to come equipped with at least three lenses. Unfortunately, we don’t know any more details about them yet.

Apparently, the Asus ZenFone 7 will not come alone. This top of the range will have the company of a Pro variant, but, for the time being, we have no more details that can elucidate us for the differences between them.

In any case, something that seems unanimous is the use of the Snapdragon 865 processor. Contrary to what will happen with the ROG Phone 3, the brand will use the SoC launched at the beginning of the year for its ZenFone line.

Asus has not managed to stand out outside the gaming market

When we look at the gaming smartphone market, there is no doubt that the ROG Phone is one of the most influential. These have managed to garner a lot of praise especially among the community dedicated to this niche.

However, the same cannot be said of the “normal” market. Xiaomi’s strong growth, for example, has pushed the Asian brand into the background. Perhaps that is why Asus has been investing more in its gaming segment.
