This Monday (20), Nintendor held a small online event to announce some news about the upcoming Nintendo Switch titles. There is information about the expected ‘Shin Megami Tensei V’, as well as the release of ‘WWE 2K Battlegrounds’. It is worth remembering that not all games are exclusive to the company’s console, some are multiplatform.
The event, which took just under ten minutes to complete, was only the first of several of the kind promised by Nintendo for this year.
Cadence of Hyrule: Crypt of the NecroDancer Featuring The Legend of Zelda
The first announcement made at the event was that of three DLCs. The initial content should be released today for the Nintendo console, the others arrive before the end of October. The content available on Monday adds new characters to the adventure. There will be five new controllers: Impa, Aria, Shadow Link, Shadow Zelda and Frederick.
The second content is about adding music to the game. In all, there will be 39 new melodies, which include remastered versions of compositions loved by fans of the franchise. The latest download concerns a history add-on.
Named ‘Symphony of the Mask’, the content allows you to control Skull Kid – a character who became known in the game ‘The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask’ – on a new map, with different enemies and music composed exclusively for the content.
For those who want to guarantee everything that was released, Nintendo plans to provide a Season Pass that guarantees access to downloads as they become available. Anyone who wants to purchase a physical version of the title with the additions, on October 23, there is a scheduled launch.
The game is a first person shooter completely online. In the trailer, you can see that there is a very diverse arsenal of weapons and items that can be used during matches. It is possible to play against real users or controlled by the game’s artificial intelligence.
The presentation made it clear that the title will support Switch motion controls to facilitate targeting, and that the crossplay system with other platforms will be available from the day of launch. More information about the game will be revealed soon.
WWE 2K Battlegrounds
Scheduled for release on September 18, the game has a ‘cartoonish’ look from well-known WWE fighters. In a very entertaining video, it is possible to see up to four fighters at the same time in a ring, with special abilities to defeat opponents.
Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne
The penultimate announcement of the event was the remastered version of a classic RPG released in 2003 for PlayStation 2. The game arrives with much more striking and colorful visuals, but obviously maintaining the essence of the game. The title is expected to be released between June and August 2021.
Shin Megami Tensei V
Taking many by surprise, the fifth title of the franchise received a new trailer. After years without concrete news – since December 2017 – it is good to know that the game is still in development and has maintained its characteristic look. The game is scheduled to arrive in 2021. By then, we hope that new information will be revealed.
