Demand for top smartphones dropped dramatically in the first half of the year, and the reasons are obvious. However, it was the low-cost Android models that most yielded the brands. For those looking for a low-cost solution, the newcomer Cubot X30 may be an option.
It is available in 6 GB + 128 GB and 8 GB + 256 GB versions, starting at 130 €.
The Cubot X30’s cameras
The new Cubot X30 had already been announced here and is now finally available. Its low price makes it an attractive product, especially for those who do not have much money to invest in a smartphone.
It stands out for its five rear cameras, the main sensor being 48 MP (Samsung S5KGM1). It is important to note that this is the same sensor that equips models like the Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, Redmi Note 9 or Galaxy A90.
Additionally, it comes with another 16 MP ultra-wide-angle sensor, a 5 MP macro camera, another 2 MP for blurred effect and, finally, a 0.3 MP sensor for better light capture. Still related, the front is 32 MP and allows unlocking the smartphone by facial recognition.
The Cubot X30 has a 6.4 ″ screen with FullHD + resolution. The front camera is placed in a perforation on the screen in the upper right corner. The processor that equips it is a Helio P60 and can be purchased in versions of 6 GB + 128 GB or 8 GB + 256 GB.
The battery of this smartphone has a large capacity, being 4200 mAh, and comes equipped with Android 10. Additionally, it has NFC for payments, and is dual-SIM. Still having space for a microSD card.

Finally, it should be noted that it can be purchased in black, gradient green and blue. The 6 GB model is then available for 130 € and the 8 GB model for 159 €. However, these prices are valid until the 1st of August.
