Usually, when a piece of equipment is certified, it means that its launch is imminent. It is rumored that the Motorola Razr 5G will be officially unveiled in August. It is during this month that Samsung will likely present the new Galaxy Fold 2 and Galaxy Flip Z.

So, we are going to have a few months of healthy competition between folders. It remains to be seen whether Huawei will still present some more folding or whether we will see other brands like Xiaomi and Oppo and present their bets.

Expected Motorola Razr 5G specifications

  • 6.2-inch Flexible View P-Oled screen
  • 2.7-inch Quick View G-Oled secondary screen
  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor
  • 48MP Samsung GM1 main sensor
  • 20 MP secondary sensor
  • 8 GB of RAM
  • 256 GB of RAM
  • Android 10
  • Dual SIM support (with eSIM)

We still have to wait for official confirmation from Motorola, but if these are the characteristics, the Moto Razr 5G promises to be a heavy equipment. One of the biggest focuses of interest is in its price, which disappointed with the first version last year, around 1500 euros.

Hopefully this year Motorola will decide to be more competitive or risk losing customers to Samsung, which is already becoming a reference in folding equipment.
