Nokia launches new cheap mobile phones for those who just need the basics

Nowadays the world of telecommunications is dominated by smartphones, but there are still many users looking for just a simple mobile phone to carry out the most basic features, calls and text messages. With these users in mind, HMD Global continues to develop new Nokia phones at extremely affordable prices.


The most recent additions to its mobile phone portfolio were presented today in China. For now, the Nokia 215 4G and Nokia 225 4G have only been confirmed in the Chinese market, but it is likely that they will also be launched globally. Regarding its price, we only know that the Nokia 215 will arrive with a price of approximately € 36.

Obviously, we cannot expect great feats from both models, since they were designed to satisfy only the basic needs of a mobile phone. For this reason, it has a plastic construction, a small screen and a traditional physical keyboard.

The Nokia 225 4G shares the same specifications as the Nokia 215, but comes with the addition of a VGA rear camera. Of course, you cannot expect to be able to capture fantastic photos, but it is always handy to have a camera on hand. In the case of this model, its official market price has not yet been revealed.

Both phones will be available for purchase in China starting October 25. We will need to continue to wait for information about a possible arrival in Europe, but this could happen even before the end of the year.
