It is almost no surprise to anyone that Samsung is preparing its new Galaxy S21 range. The various rumors and leaks left practically everything uncovered about this line and, therefore, certainly that the South Korean brand will not reveal big surprises at the time of its presentation.
Recently, there was another detail that strengthens the thesis that this new smartphone may arrive soon. This is the TKDN certification achieved by the three models in the Galaxy S21 range.
After several disclosures about colors and characteristics and even a video that shows us practically everything about the new Samsung Galaxy S21, information about the next line of the South Korean giant does not stop reaching the various technological media.
Samsung’s Galaxy S21 receives TKDN certification
The various rumors and news reinforce the idea that Samsung may soon launch its Galaxy S21 line.
The series recently went through the TKDN certification process in Indonesia. According to the information, there were three models to receive this certificate: The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21 + and Galaxy S21 Ultra. The equipment serial numbers are SM-G991B, SM-G996B and SM-G998B, respectively, as shown in the following image.
However, just by itself, this TKDN certification does not give us many more details about this equipment. And, allied to all other information, we practically already have this range presented, unofficially.
What to expect from the Galaxy s21 line?
According to information that has been revealed, these new devices may already bring Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon 888 processor.
In addition, the base model should offer 128 GB or 256 GB of storage and be available in gray, white, pink and violet. The S21 + variant will also have the option 128 GB and 256 GB and will arrive in silver, black and violet. Finally, the top of the range S21 Ultra will be available with storage of 128 GB, 256 GB or 512 GB, in silver and black.
The S21 will have a 6.7 inch FHD + LTPS 120 Hz screen, a 4,000 mAh battery, 12 MP + 64 MP (telephoto) + 12 MP (ultra wide angle) cameras, Wi-Fi 6 + Bluetooth 5.1 and plastic back cover.
The S21 + will be identical in all respects, except for the 4,800 mAh battery and the glass back cover. In turn, the S21 Ultra will feature an adaptive 6.8-inch WQHD + 120 Hz LTOP screen, a 5,000 mAh battery, 108 MP + 10 MP (3x) + 10 MP (10x) + 12 MP cameras ( ultra wide angle), Wi-Fi 6E + Bluetooth 5.1 and glass back.
As for the operating system, the smartphone should bring the One UI 3.1, based on Android 11.
More recently it was revealed that, after all, this smartphone may also not bring a charger or phones. The release date is estimated to happen as early as January 14th.
