With the cancellation of the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) due to the new coronavirus, companies have found other ways to present the launches scheduled for the coming months. Ubisoft, for example, scheduled, for the first time, a presentation completely online to show the new projects. The chosen date was this Sunday (12).
Named ‘Ubisoft Forward’, the event had some very interesting announcements, such as a deeper look at ‘Watch Dogs Legion’, a game in which the player can assume the role of several different characters during the game, guaranteeing innumerable possibilities.
Another ad that caught the eye was that of ‘Far Cry 6’, which features actor Giancarlo Esposito as a relentless villain. With the launch scheduled for February 2021, the title will be cross-platform, that is, be available for the current generation of video games (Xbox One and PlayStation 4) and for the next consoles (Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5). As mentioned, the game does not have a main character, the player can choose who to play with. With that, there are countless possibilities of interaction with the situations presented during the adventure. The game, which was scheduled to launch in March 2020 before being postponed, is now scheduled to arrive on October 29 this year.
The company made a point of showing how the skills of the characters are important for the fulfillment of the missions – and how they present interactions and unique ways to reach the objectives.
The company announced the arrival of the multiplayer game ‘Brawhalla’ to mobile devices. As of August 6, Android Android device owners (iOS) will be able to play the title in exactly the same way as on consoles.
Might Magic: Era of Chaos
Here, Ubisoft has just released a thank you trailer for the game community. According to the company, in seven months of launch, the title has accumulated more than 100 million hours played. The game is available free for iOS and Android.
Tom Clancy’s Elite Squad
Game that brings together the main characters of the Ubisoft franchises in multiplayer battles won another trailer – in addition to opening the possibility of pre-registration to test the title. You can register on the official website.
Ubisoft has announced that its futuristic battle royale will win an open beta period starting this Sunday (12). The game, which is free for PC, takes place in the year 2050 and offers players the possibility to face each other in a futuristic city.
Assassin’s Creed Valhalla
The gameplay presented represents real images of the game working. It is possible to see that some elements implemented in the last titles of the series, such as the battle system and the way it is located around the world, are back.
The presentation showed the variations of enemies present in the title, as well as what elements of the scenario the player can use to have some advantage in combat. The landscapes are varied and show areas of forest, kingdoms and even icy landscapes. The game arrives on November 17 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Stadia. The title should reach PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X as soon as they are available.
In addition to the conventional trailer released, detailed gameplay lasting over half an hour was revealed. In it, it is possible to have more details of all the mechanics present in the title.
Far Cry 6
Considered to be one of Ubisoft’s most lucrative franchises, ‘Far Cry’ returns for the sixth numbered episode. With actor Giancarlo Esposito bringing the villain Anton Castillo to life, the game shows an urban setting in which the adventure will unfold – with a likely link to the drug trade. The title arrives on February 18, 2021 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Google Stadia.
The great news of the title is that it can be redeemed on another platform even if the user has purchased a lower version. That is to say, whoever buys the Xbox One version, for example, wins the upgrade to the Xbox Series X version. This also applies to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. All done at no additional cost.
