For some time now, Samsung stopped using its Exynos processors exclusively for its devices, also starting to supply to Vivo. In addition, the Chinese manufacturer has even debuted the Exynos 880 in Vivo Y70s that was presented in May.
Now new information has emerged that the manufacturer is preparing a second smartphone with this processor, which is expected to present itself as a more modest version of the Vivo Y70s. Although the details published on the Chinese social network Weibo did not reveal all the information, we already had a clear idea of what Vivo Y70 will present.
Vivo Y70 specifications
- LCD screen with Full HD + resolution and punch hole (dimensions not confirmed)
- 60Hz refresh rate
- Exynos 880 processor
- 6GB / 8GB RAM
- 128GB of internal memory (without the possibility of expansion)
- Triple rear camera: 48MP (Samsung GM1) + 8MP (ultrawide) + 2MP (depth)
- 8 megapixel front camera (OV8856)
- 4,500mAh battery with support for fast charging at 18W
- Android 10
Vivo Y70 price and availability
A possible presentation date has not yet been revealed for Vivo’s new mid-range smartphone, however, everything indicates that it will be presented in China later this month. In the first phase, it will most likely be exclusive to the Chinese market, after which it will be launched in various international markets.
As for its price, the publication confirms that the variant with 6GB of RAM will hit the market for € 226, while the most powerful will cost around € 250.
Considering these prices and its list of specifications, it seems unlikely that Vivo Y70 will be able to cope with the large offer of its rivals in Europe. So it would not be a big surprise that the manufacturer was in no great hurry to launch this smartphone globally.
