The most popular messaging service on the planet has announced some of its latest news. In a video of just 30 seconds, one of the main highlights is the arrival of Dark Mode (dark mode) to the desktop / web (computer) version.
WhatsApp had already received dark mode for smartphones a few months ago. Now it’s time for the web version to receive this news, and I show you below how to activate it.
Activate Dark Mode on the desktop / web version:
- Click on the ‘three dots’ in the top bar
- Choose the ‘Settings’ option
- Click on the ‘Theme’ option
- Choose the ‘Dark’ theme
In my case, I must warn you that Dark Mode was available on the web version through Google Chrome. Already in the app for macOS, in my case it is not yet available for activation.
Animated Stickers, QR Codes, Video In-Call Expansion
This update also brings the Animated Stickers to the smartphone version, which you can see in the video below. It is also possible to add friends using a QR code.
If you are on a call with several friends, and want to pay attention to what is being said by one of the members, it will also be possible to expand that part of the video.
In one way or another, these are news that promise to improve your experience with the service. And if you use WhatsApp on your computer, Dark Mode will be a great addition to your productivity.
